Cody and Kirby’s close family and friends gathered at the Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish to celebrate two people that are truly meant to be! You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day for an outdoor wedding. A seemingly endless supply of sunshine illuminated the meticulously tended flowers and landscaping. A tall, gorgeous willow tree stood as the backdrop, along with a spectacular view of Agate Pass and Bainbridge Island.
Kirby’s dress was absolutely breathtaking. The lace detailing, especially on her back, really stood out to me – so pretty and feminine! One of the best parts of the dress were the pockets Kirby had added to the skirt! I think pockets are now becoming the standard – and I love it! Paired with her AMAZING bouquet of burgundies, pinks and creams, along with her perfect makeup (which she did herself!), Kirby really was a vision of beauty.
Little details found throughout the wedding day spoke to Cody and Kirby as individuals, as well as a couple. Stars and stripes décor represented Cody’s continued service in the United States Army, while Kirby’s career in education was proudly displayed in her students’ artwork that lined the walls of the reception. Kirby also has a special affection for llamas, and these adorable animals were found all over, including on top of their wedding cake!
Mr. and Mrs. Schuler, thank you so much for inviting me to document your wedding day!
